One Wednesday, September 20, 2017, Weskan High School students: Blakely Aldridge, Zack Schemm, Jace Mackley, Brooklyn Martinez, Hallie Eck, Zack Box, Keaton Tesmer, and Doniley Sexson were selected to go to a leadership seminar called "C.L.A.S.S.". They joined the rest of the schools from their League, in Wheatland for the presentation.

At the seminar, the students learned skills that ranged from, "How to Give A Proper Handshake", to ways to remember peoples' names. The day was filled with meeting students from different schools and lots of talking. Overall, the building was filled with positive vibes.

When asked what the best part of the day was, Keaton Tesmer said, “Meeting new people throughout the League was a very new and exciting experience.”

The presenter at the seminar was Joe Coles. Joe goes all over the country to expand the knowledge of good leadership skills to students. He talks to schools and companies about good leadership traits, as well. Joe is even a Kansas local!

C.L.A.S.S. is an amazing program and should be brought to every school. Spreading kindness and wellness around this country’s schools would lead to outstanding outcomes. There will be 3 more leadership meetings for the WKLL students this year.
