New water fountains! Weskan School received a grant from the Midwest Energy Community Fund. They granted the school $950 to redo two water fountains, to add water filling stations.

These water filling stations have become a wonderful addition to Weskan Schools. There is a filling station located near each gym. They have been awesome for quickly filling water bottles and for keeping the kids healthy and hydrated. Cobie Bussen,
Third Grade, said, “I love the filling stations! You can just put your water bottle under it and a couple seconds later, my water bottle is filled.”

The elementary kids have been having a bit of fun with the filling stations. They have been having a race, at which filler station will fill up the most water bottles. The filling station near the little gym has a total of 228 water bottles filled. The filling station near the big gym has a total of 436 water bottles filled. Combining both filling stations, they have a total of 664 reusable water bottles filled!

Weskan Schools appreciates the grant that we received from the Midwest Energy Community Fund. Our kids sure do love the filling stations! Thank you Midwest Energy Community Fund!
