One quarter of school down, three more to go! Thursday, October 17, was the end of the first nine weeks at Weskan Schools. Each nine weeks, the Elementary students have AR goals that they have to meet before the end of the nine weeks.

Andon Cox, first grade, said, “I met my AR goal this first nine weeks! I’m really excited for the next three, nine weeks, because I am determined to make my goal and go to the AR parties.”

The High School students have to complete a book report and an AR test every 9 weeks, as well. “I was excited when the first nine weeks came to an end. I only have 15 more nine weeks to go before I graduate.” said Breckyn Eck, Freshman.
Hasn’t the first quarter gone quite fast? Our teachers sure do think so. Tracy Walker, the Kindergarten teacher, said, “These nine weeks go by faster with each year that I teach.”

We can’t wait to see what these next three-quarters of school bring to Weskan. Let’s make this year a good one! We can smell summer already!
